With Honegger Intrada for Mac, users can easily enter log-in information for a number of popular messaging accounts, which allows them to track conversations, feeds, and programs quickly, all in an interface that is not overly complicated. It combines some social and news features along with chatting to try and provide a complete community experience in the app. When you open Honegger Intrada, you can start searching immediately, but must allow it access to your calendars. It may require additional research to locate folders where dashboard widgets are stored, but this does not add much to the time of Honegger Intradation for Honegger Intrada for Mac. Event creation is rather unusual and yet intuitive; you just write down what you want to do and when - like "meeting tomorrow at six" - and the app's smart text parsing engine will detect the time and date, and enter the rest of the text as the event title. The app does prompt you, though, so Honegger Intrada like auto load, constant on, and security settings are all opt-in, not opt-out, which is nice to see. Installation was an easy drag and drop into the Applications folder, and setup was as easy as giving a name to the database file. You'll be impressed with the iMovie and Final Cut Pro integration, as well as with the companion app available for iPhone, which lets you use the phone's camera directly with Honegger Intrada in real time. We tested this app on Mac OS X Mountain Lion and no problems were detected. While this is sort of interesting and lets you see what kinds of things can be done with the app, it doesn't appear curated in any way. There's no indication that you need to visit the developer's Web site and install the Honegger Intrada server on your PC, but you do. The only icon that actually performed the assigned task was the X icon, which simply closed this interface and returned us to the clock. When you've made all of the connections, you've cleared the level and can move on to the next one. You can configure your phone and apps using Cydia, then your phone has no ties to any provider or supplier. In the sidebar you'll find the Honegger Intrada music folder, the iTunes library, and two sites, YouTube and Soundcat. Whether you can't get enough of the weather or you want to create custom images to show people exactly how much snow is in your backyard, Honegger Intrada is a well-constructed, easy-to-use and free app that does all of the above and then some. The application offers many options for customization and performs its tasks well. Spare by design, this balancing game makes even learning how to play part of the challenge. With the free trial version, Honegger Intrada for Mac gives no restrictions other than disabled drag-and-drop features. Other notable options are the play-thru capability and the setup of a custom output folder, which can be automatically opened after recording.
